Analysis of Electrical Characteristic of PVA / Zndust Ionic Membrane for the Application of Biomedical
This work emphasizes on the improved electrical properties of a polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) and zinc dust (Zn) ionic membrane through constructing and analysing it. Significant improvements in conductivity, dielectric characteristics, and impedance properties are accomplished by the composite material, which incorporates zinc dust into a PVA matrix. Electrical conductivity investigations demonstrate that adding Zn particles significantly enhances electrical conductivity; where continuous conductive pathways begin to develop. The composite is suitable for energy storage applications because dielectric analysis indicates a higher dielectric constant as a consequence of the zinc particles' enhanced polarization effects. Dissipation loss analysis demonstrates that restricting energy dissipation, maintaining conductivity, and managing the amount of zinc are all ways to limit energy loss as heat. Impedance analysis, through the use of Nyquist and Bode plots, offers an in-depth comprehension of the composite's frequency-dependent response and emphasizes its potential applications in sensors, energy storage devices, and EMI shielding materials.
