Research on Electron Release Law of High-Voltage Pulse Helium Ionization Transducer for Breath Analysis in Cancer Diagnosis

The testing of human respiratory gases is a noninvasive and safe detection method, which can evaluate health status and detect disease types. Respiratory gas testing has received great attention as an early screening method for cancer. In the early stages of cancer occurrence, the gas components decomposed are complex, with low concentrations, even below 0.1 ppm, making it difficult to quickly detect online. This article conducts in-depth research on the high-frequency and highvoltage pulse helium ionization mechanism of the Pulse Discharge Helium Ionization Detector (PDHID) and the electron release law under plasma radiation field. Through numerical simulation analysis of the PDHID sensor, the electron distribution and other microscopic processes during the microsecond pulse needle discharge process are studied. A two-dimensional symmetric structure calculation model is established to analyze the changes in electron number density distribution, electric field strength, and helium ionization efficiency during the discharge process, providing stable and tunable energy of 11.3-20.7 ev, thereby achieving broad-spectrum and high sensitivity in early cancer screening gas detection.
