1B6S Smart Factory Model Implementation in an Animal Food Factory: The Preliminary Study

This paper proposes a smart factory framework called 1B6S. The framework, developed in collaboration with Betsukawa Corporation Japan and Thai partners, aims to enhance the industry 4.0 maturity level of the industry in the southern part of Thailand. A survey and information gathering about the industry led to the implementation of the framework in an animal food factory. A preliminary study of a premium animal food factory is reported to provide insight into the benefits of applying the framework for supporting the industry's value chains.
