Novel Ni-Sn Anode//Lifeop4 Cathode Nanostructures Via Enhanced Deposition for on-Chip Lithium-Ion Micro Batteries
This study presents an advanced method for fabricating on-chip lithium-ion micro batteries, utilizing an optimized electrophoretic deposition process. By employing a three-electrode system, the process ensures precise loading of LiFePO<inf xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">4</inf> cathode materials, effectively minimizing cross-contamination. The resulting electrodes exhibit a porous microstructure and high specific surface area, facilitating lithium-ion diffusion and promoting robust electrochemical performance. The micro battery demonstrates a plateau of 3.2 V and a capacity of $60.1 \mu \mathrm{Ah}$ $\mathrm{~cm}^{-2}$ after 25 cycles, highlighting its potential for powering miniature energy systems that demand both efficiency and reliability.
