Multi-Target Coupling Effect Evaluation and Analysis Method Via Scattering Center Model

In this paper, a coupling effect analysis method based on the scattering center model (SCM) is proposed to evaluate and analyze the coupling effect of cluster targets. By constructing the SCM based on the geometric diffraction theory (GTD), the total scattering field of the cluster target is concisely characterized. The positions of the coupled scattering centers and their influence on the target scattering centers are examined by varying the target spacings. Compared with existing published studies, the proposed method has potential applications in quickly solving for the coupling effect of clustered targets.

Abstract

In this paper, a coupling effect analysis method based on the scattering center model (SCM) is proposed to evaluate and analyze the coupling effect of cluster targets. By constructing the SCM based on the geometric diffraction theory (GTD), the total scattering field of the cluster target is concisely characterized. The positions of the coupled scattering centers and their influence on the target scattering centers are examined by varying the target spacings. Compared with existing published studies, the proposed method has potential applications in quickly solving for the coupling effect of clustered targets.
