Dielectric Measurement of Irregular Materials Based on Open-Circuit Coaxial Resonant Cavities
With the rise of microwave technology, irregularly shaped materials with wave-transparent properties have been widely used in the microwave field. In order to measure the dielectric properties of irregular materials in the low-frequency band, an open-circuit coaxial resonant cavity with open terminals was designed. Using the designed resonant cavity based on perturbation theory can be tested to obtain the dielectric properties of irregular materials in a small area. This paper mainly introduces the application background of irregular materials, the structural design and analysis of the terminated open-circuit resonant cavity, as well as the simulation and actual measurement results.
