A7-Level Inverter for Grid-Connected Hybrid Renewable Systems
In recent years, renewable energy sources have risen in popularity due to their low environmental impact and independence from conventional fuel and delivery systems. Connecting hybrid renewable systems to the power grid is discussed in this article, and a 7-level inverter with fewer switches is used. The goal of this setup is to provide a more practical and efficient method of connecting renewable energy sources to the grid. The inverter's performance and reliability can be improved by reducing the number of switches utilized in the system, which in turn reduces the switching and conduction losses. The output voltage range of the 7-level inverter is wider than that of conventional 2-level inverters, leading to higher quality waveforms and lower total harmonic distortion (THD). Particularly well suited to hybrid renewable systems, which commonly comprise of various energy sources like solar and wind power, this method allows for smooth integration of these sources into the grid. Overall, the A 7-Level Inverter with Reduced Switch Count for system-Connected Hybrid Renewable Systems is a cutting-edge technology that provides a reliable and effective method of integrating renewable energy into the existing electrical system. Here, the Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) is used in conjunction with a cascaded H-bridge topology to maximize the output from a PV and wind power generation setup [1]. Traditional 7-level CHBMLI and its modified version that uses fewer switches have been compared. Characteristics of the system with the fewest switches are analyzed in Simulink/MATLAB.
