Enhanced Security Scheme for IoT based EHR Systems in Hybrid Cloud Environments

The application of IoT in Electronic Health Record Managements systems involves various network components from tiny sensors to cloud servers. The collection devices have to be tangled in a resonance to provide reliable, scalable and secured operations. Devising a clear architecture and protocols in IoT based EHR systems is a perplexed process due to the diversity of different heterogeneous network devices. This work named as "Enhanced Security Scheme for IoT based EHR system in Hybrid Cloud Environments (ESSIE)" is an attempt to introduce novel way to access electronic health records in a flexible and secured way in hybrid cloud environments. Three novel interoperable modules namely Preparatory Lightweight Security Signer, Intermittent Security Manager, and Aggregation based Record Management System are introduced in ESSIE work to achieve higher throughput, Packet Delivery Rate, and security levels. It is also formulated to reduce the average processing time, energy consumption and communications delays. Crucial features such as Data integration, Real-time monitoring, Remote patient management and Predictive analysis are addressed explicitly in ESSIE work.
