Vibration Energy Converter With Double Frequency-Up Conversion For Enhanced Self-Powered Human Motion Sensing
This paper presents a vibration energy converter with a double frequency-up conversion (FUC) mechanism for enhanced self-powered human motion sensing. The system primarily consists of two subcomponents: a spring-mass oscillator and a vibration energy converter. Experiments have demonstrated that external vibration excitation at 0.1 Hz could be initially up-converted to the rotor rotation at 25 Hz and subsequently to the PZT vibration at 300 Hz, achieving a conversion ratio of 3000. This high conversion ratio effectively enhances the output signal strength and resolution, making the device particularly effective in wearable devices that operate in performance-constrained and interference-prone environments.
