Research Study on DNA-based Cryptosystem for Cloud, IoT, and Edge Computing Networks
In modern technologies such as cloud computing, IoT (Internet of Things), and edge computing, data security is one of the most critical aspects of communications and data transmission. Security analysis ensures data safety when stored and transferred to the cloud. Cryptosystems enabled by the Internet of Things have made network data security possible. Edge computing utilizes data encryption systems to protect data from various risks and attackers. Data security issues are prevalent in multiple contexts and technologies, with possible outcomes including illegal access, hacking, corrupted information, and loss of information accuracy. While conventional cryptography is fundamental to data security, it has inherent problems, such as privacy, storage, and critical size. DNA cryptography is an emerging technique that can hide data using DNA codes. It is required since DNA computing uses fewer resources and memory. DNA cryptography provides a high level of security, as the encoded information in DNA sequences is difficult to modify or decipher. The goal is to comprehensively analyze and review DNA cryptography techniques used in edge, cloud, and IoT networks to enhance security and performance.
