Low Profile F-P Antenna Based on Metasurface
Based on the theoretical exploration of metamaterial F-P cavity antennas, this work mainly combines metal based F-P cavity antennas to achieve high gain antennas. The designed F-P cavity antenna consists of a near zero refractive material on the upper plate, a phase controlled surface with partial reflection, a high impedance surface with total reflection on the lower plate (also known as an artificial magnetic conductor), and a feed antenna. A low profile high gain cavity antenna was designed by coupling the three elements reasonably.
