Design of Relay System Based on WiFi and Visible Light Communication
This paper presents the design and implementation of a relay system integrating Wireless Fidelity (WiFi) and Visible Light Communication (VLC), aiming at addressing the challenges of short-distance wireless communication in high-speed environments. By combining WiFi and VLC technologies, the system leverages the ESP8266-NodeMCU devices for channel encoding, WiFi transmission, and On-Off Keying (OOK) digital modulation, thereby ensures stable and accurate data transmission. At the receiver, a novel algorithm for merging binary strings is proposed to accurately reconstruct the original bitstream. Experimental results demonstrate that the system effectively achieves high-reliability VLC transmission, significantly enhancing data transmission stability and efficiency. Additionally, the system demonstrates a robust capability to correct erroneous data during reception, thereby reducing the bit error rate.
