Determination of the uncertainty of length measurement with a three-coordinate measuring device
The paper briefly describes the current method of verifying whether the Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) meets the permissible measurement errors with which it is characterized by the manufacturer and proposes a new method of verifying whether the (CMM) meets this permissible measurement errors. The proposed method is derived using the OEFPIL algorithm and corresponds to the procedures according to the GUM (Evaluation of measurement data — Guide to the expression of uncertainty in measurement) regulation.
