DISCUSSION, ANALYSIS AND CHALLENGES OF GEORGIA'S ECONOMIC AND FINANCIAL PROBLEMS IN CONTEMPORARY GEORGIAN JOURNALISM

Georgia's economy has even shown some positive and large-scale results in recent years, but despite the fact that the country has taken important steps in various directions, including attracting foreign investments and developing the tourism industry, it still faces a number of challenges that hinder its economic growth. Despite a number of difficulties, the Government of Georgia continues to take steps to diversify the economy, develop small and medium businesses and attract new investments. The problem is that the current political situation in the country and especially high polarization also directly proportionally and negatively affects modern Georgian journalism and the discussion and analysis of the economic and financial problems of Georgia covered by it. The paper discusses the role of modern Georgian journalism in covering the economic and financial problems of the country and the discussion and analysis of economic and financial challenges in Georgia seen through the eyes of Georgian journalism. We analyze the current state of the economy, identify the main problems, look for the causes of difficulties and study the impact of political and economic polarization and the resulting instability on the country's economic landscape. We will also consider coverage of economic and financial topics by the Georgian media, critical evaluations of the government's policies and experts' opinions about the economic and financial challenges facing Georgia. The paper discusses the impact of Georgian journalism on public opinion, the economic decisions of the government, as well as the challenges facing economic journalism itself and the prospects of future development.
