A Study on the User Perception Analysis of Sports Wearable Using Textmining
This study explored consumer perceptions of sports wearables, focusing on the growing demand for personal health monitoring. Utilizing the Textom platform, key keywords were extracted from data collected between August 2023 and July 2024. Text mining identified significant keywords, which were refined, and 50 key terms were selected for frequency analysis. The matrix file generated was used for semantic network analysis, and centrality indicators were calculated, followed by CONCOR analysis to categorize keywords into groups based on structural equivalence. The analysis revealed that Wearable, Sports, and Watch were the most frequent keywords, underscoring their importance in the sports sector. Semantic network analysis showed high centrality for these keywords, reflecting their significant role in the sports wearable ecosystem. CONCOR analysis categorized the keywords into five groups: core technology, market influence, user experience, brand impact, and performance enhancement. These findings provide valuable insights for industry development and market strategies. Academically, this study suggests further research on the convergence of wearable technology with sports, and the development of models predicting consumer preferences. Practically, it emphasizes the need for technological innovation, enhanced user experience, and strengthened brand value in product development. The study’s limitations include data scope, suggesting future research should expand data sources and integrate qualitative approaches for a deeper understanding of consumer perceptions, alongside long-term studies on wearable device impacts.
