Abstract

Modern society is demanding new conceptual artistic trends and designs. By applying the characteristics of deforma, which enables unique visual disharmony and heterogeneous expression, it is possible to escape from the representation of the object as it is and to express the desire of art or the inherent conflict and emotions of humans. Deformat can be said to be a subjective formative will expressed by the artist’s intentionally distorted transformation, and in fact, it is actively used in many visual arts fields to subjectively express human inner emotions. This phenomenon has also affected the beauty field such as nail art design, and various works that have transformed the shape in various ways or expressed in a unique way, and sublimated it into art leaving the aesthetic domain. By borrowing the characteristics of Deformat’s heterogeneous element combination, one of the representative forms of this expanded art, unique and unique artworks can be expressed in the nail art field, and artistic expression beyond the existing framework is possible through colorful colors and designs. Therefore, this study intends to contribute to the creative activities of nail art design by creating a nail art design that utilizes the characteristics of the heterogeneous element combination of one of the main forms of modern art based on the theoretical consideration of deforma and the expression method according to the work propensity of the preceding artist and revealing its meaning.
