A bubble-templating strategy to construct CeO2 aerogels and their potential application for fast detection of acetone

A facile bubble-templating strategy is proposed to prepare CeO 2 and metal-doped CeO 2 aerogels. The synergy of the sugar-blowing property of glucose and gases generated from precursors contributes to form the CeO 2 aerogel.
