Max Weber’s “Science as a Vocation” and some aspects of aducational management
This article analyzes Max Weber's work "Science as a Vocation", which is actual even today and not just because of the fact that it analyzes scientific learnings and social dynamics of international scientific unity. This work takes us to scientific knowledge legacy and the lack of progress in science. When Weber discusses science, as a calling and a profession, he sees science through its cultural-historical angle. He tries to show us that the inner motivation of a scientist is always a professional calling. This idea is still relevant in modern times. Almost after a century, Weber's heritage gives us a chance to reanalyze topics in new ways, ways that are connected to a human's intellectual being. Therefore, some aspects of modern educational management need to be analyzed in a new way.
