Research on the Impact of Regional Internet Development on Enterprise Breakthrough Innovation—Regression analysis based on STATA software

Based on data from Shanghai and Shenzhen listed companies from 2007 to 2020, this paper uses Stata software to conduct multiple regression to test the impact mechanism of regional Internet development on enterprise breakthrough innovation. The study found that the level of regional Internet development significantly positively affects the breakthrough innovation of enterprises; The level of regional Internet development has an impact on breakthrough innovation through digital transformation, and digital transformation has some intermediary effects; through heterogeneity analysis, it is concluded that regional Internet development has a stronger role in promoting the breakthrough innovation level of state-owned enterprises and high-tech enterprises. This article conducted multiple regression analyses using Stata software. The research shows that the regional development level of the Internet has a positive impact on radical innovation. The regional development level of the Internet affects fundamental innovation through digital transformation. Through comparative analysis, he found that the level of regional Internet development can promote innovation to break through the level of state-owned enterprises and high-tech companies.
