Research on the integration degree of Dongguan digital economy basic industry and manufacturing industry based on the coupling degree evaluation model

It was pointed out on the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China that it is necessary to accelerate the development of the digital economy, promote the integrated development of the real economy and the digital economy, and accelerate the manufacturing industry to develop towards digitization, networking and intelligence. For Dongguan, a major manufacturing city, the primary goal of promoting the digital economy should focus on the integration of the digital economy basic industry and the manufacturing industry, which is also an effective way to break through the bottleneck of the upgrade and transformation of manufacturing in Dongguan. Through building a coupling degree evaluation model, this paper will measure the degree of industrial integration between the digital economy basic industry and manufacturing industry in Dongguan. From the two perspectives of the overall manufacturing industry and different types of manufacturing industries, the calculation of the degree of industrial integration is carried out, and the specific trends and reasons are analyzed one by one. Finally, countermeasures and suggestions which can effectively improve the integration development level of digital economy and manufacturing industry are put forward.
