VINCULACIÓN DEL FALSACIONISMO POPPERIANO CON LA INVESTIGACIÓN CIENTÍFICA
Abstract The aim of this essay is to deepen in the falsificationist proposal of Karl Popper, who argues that all knowledge can be considered scientific, as long as it complies with two fundamental characteristics; the first is that it is susceptible to being falsifiable and the second refers to the existence of elements that have not yet been falsified; in this sense, instead of proposing that the knowledge obtained through the scientific method be generalized to different scenarios, it needs to be challenged, that is, falsified, to corroborate or discard the established theories or laws. These assertions are binding with research, since, by going through a process of constant contrasting, knowledge is generated that is closer to the contextual reality than to a relative truth, so that, instead of the criterion of verification, the criterion of falsifiability is put forward, as a criterion of demarcation between science and non-science.
