An Overview on the Thulium YAG Laser

Abstract: High power laser emission from the 3F4 – 3F6 transition can be produced with a Thulium-Yttrium Aluminum Garnet (Tm:YAG) laser. At a wavelength of 2010 nm, it functions in a continuous wave mode and exhibits strong absorption properties. It is therefore frequently employed in coagulation and surgical cutting applications.[22]
