Using a quantitative approach with a descriptive cross-sectional scope, a survey of 37 questions was conducted, collecting data from 162 students. The results indicate that 67% of respondents feel addicted to social media, which contributes to procrastination and affects their sleep quality, concentration, and emotional well-being, generating stress and anxiety. The research highlights that procrastination negatively impacts academic performance, making it crucial for students to identify the causes of their behavior and make better decisions.
