The core of Yakut linguistic consciousness: Structure and key elements

The purpose of the study is to identify the structural and substantive features, and national and cultural specifics at the core of the linguistic consciousness of native speakers of the Yakut language. The article identifies and describes the structure of the core of the Yakut linguistic consciousness based on the materials of the Associative Dictionary of the Yakut language, created on the results of free associative experiments in 2005-2010. The lexical and grammatical characteristics of the core units are considered, special attention is paid to paired words in the composition "reaction – stimulus" in the associative field. The scientific novelty of the research lies in the fact that for the first time a meaningful analysis of words in the core of the linguistic consciousness of native speakers of the modern Yakut language is carried out, which will make it possible to build its structure and identify the features of the national and cultural specifics of the image of the world. As a result of the study, it was found that the core of the Yakut linguistic consciousness reflects the specifics of the language through complex interrelations between the phenomena of polysemy and homonymy, as well as high lexical variability, which emphasizes cultural and cognitive meanings rooted in the linguistic picture of the world.
