Study on flowrate measurement method based on laminar flow element with curved gap
A curved-gap-type LFM (Laminar Flowmeter) is proposed and investigated experimentally. The standard gas LFM and test piece are tested using the same gas flow standard device. The experimental results show that at the same flow point, the differential pressure measured by the curved-gap-type LFM is greater than that measured by the standard meter. This means that the design of the curved gap structure can effectively increase the length of the flow channel and save the space of the flow channel. In the flow range of (0.066–10) L/min, the overall deviation of the curved gap LFM is less than 1 %. This shows that the design of curved gap structure can effectively broaden the measuring range.
