Digitalization of basic error and measurement uncertainty of reference meters for electrical energy by utilizing Digital Calibration Certificate (DCC)

The reference meter for electrical energy is a transmission standard for power and energy values, and the calibration certificate is a document that proves its traceability and metrological performance. Existing calibration certificates for reference meters are stored in paper or PDF format, but there are problems with inconsistent formats and difficult data verification. The design of digital calibration certificate (DCC) provides technical conditions for the digitization and machine readability of certificates. In this study, we developed an application for DCC based Java, and conducted a basic error test for reference meters. This application is capable of converting measurement data, into DCC compliant with the DCC Schema. To enhance the accessibility of these certificates, we also produce traditional PDF versions. Digital signatures are used to enhance the security of certificates. The XML file underwent validation with the GEMIMEG Tool version 1.4.1. This process ensures the successful digitization of measurement results and the measurement uncertainty for reference meters for electrical energy.
