Technology of differentiated environmentally safe irrigation with wide-coverage sprinkler equipment

The article considers the technology of differentiated irrigation, that reduces the volume of surface runoff and significantly improves environmental safety. The volume of surface runoff per irrigation using standard technology in 2020 amounted to 9 % of the irrigation rate, which is 2.3 times more than with optimized technology. According to the results of research in 2021, the volume of surface runoff using standard technology amounted to 10 % of the irrigation rate. The volume of runoff using optimized technology was 2.4 times less. Field studies in 2022 also showed that the volume of surface runoff during irrigation using standard technology, with the same rate, is significantly higher than that of irrigation with differentiated standards and the volume of runoff from the irrigation rate was 8% with standard technology, 3.6% with optimized technology. The surface runoff results in surface wash and removal of nutrients and humus. The analysis also showed the decrease of nutrient removal with the introduction of optimized technology.
