Spatiotemporal dynamics of changes in agrometeorological indicators in the territory of Saratov region in conditions of climate instability

The article presents the spatiotemporal dynamics of the main soil agrometeorological indicators (precipitation amount, snow depth, reserves of productive moisture in a meter layer of soil, moisture coefficient and hydrothermal moisture coefficient), which influence the specifics of spring farm work and, as a consequence, crop yields. Analysis of monitoring data of agrometeorological indicators associated with various types of soils in the Saratov region in the period from 1971 to 2022 has led to conclusions about the significant impact of climate instability, both on the quantitative indicators and spatial distribution.

Abstract

The article presents the spatiotemporal dynamics of the main soil agrometeorological indicators (precipitation amount, snow depth, reserves of productive moisture in a meter layer of soil, moisture coefficient and hydrothermal moisture coefficient), which influence the specifics of spring farm work and, as a consequence, crop yields. Analysis of monitoring data of agrometeorological indicators associated with various types of soils in the Saratov region in the period from 1971 to 2022 has led to conclusions about the significant impact of climate instability, both on the quantitative indicators and spatial distribution.
