Penyuluhan Hipertensi dan DAGUSIBU Obat Antihipertensi
Hypertension is a non-communicable disease characterized by systolic blood pressure above 140 mmHg or diastolic blood pressure above 90 mmHg based on repeated examinations. This disease is a degenerative disease that can cause damage to the body's vital organs over time. Hypertension sufferers are estimated at 22% of the total population in the world. Hypertension is a global health problem that is quite dangerous and is the main cause of coronary heart disease and kidney disease. Hypertension, or high blood pressure, is also known as the silent killer because, in most cases, patients do not know when they experience high blood pressure because physical examination often shows no signs until complications occur. Proper prevention and treatment will reduce the impact or risk of unwanted complications. This health education activity aims to increase the knowledge and understanding of the Dukuh Beji community about hypertension and the antihypertensive drug DAGUSIBU as a promotional and preventive effort. The method of outreach activities begins with a health examination, namely measuring blood pressure, then a pretest is carried out, which is then continued with the delivery of material and discussion, then ends with a posttest. The results of outreach activities from 26 participants showed that the majority of participants were aged >61, 50%, with female gender 69.2%, and blood pressure in the abnormal range 69.2%. In evaluating the level of knowledge, there was an increase in participants' knowledge. As seen from the results of the pretest before the counseling was carried out, there were still people who had a sufficient level of knowledge of 15.4%. After being given the counseling and given the posttest, the knowledge level of all participants was 100% in the "good" category
