Applying CycleGAN for Style Transfer of Modern Scenes to Changsha Kiln Patterns in Museum Exhibits

This paper explores the possibility of applying Cycle Generative Adversarial Network (CycleGAN) in museums, specifically studying the process of converting modern scene photos into Changsha kiln style patterns. Changsha Kiln, as a famous intangible cultural heritage of Hunan Province, is famous for its unique hand-painted underglaze multicolored technology and diverse styles. However, due to the uniqueness of each ceramic pattern, it is difficult to effectively reproduce and display the unique style and historical background of these patterns in museum displays. This paper proposes a style transfer scheme to convert modern scene images into Changsha kiln style through CycleGAN and apply it in a museum environment. This method not only enhances public participation and museum experience, but also expands the application of CycleGAN in museums and promotes the inheritance and development of cultural heritage.
