The Role of Connectors in Modern Identification Management Systems
In an increasingly digital world, identification management systems (IDM) play a crucial role in managing access to information and securing data. Connectors are vital components within these systems, serving as “bridges” between the IDM system and various target systems. This article explores the types, functionalities, and the development of connectors in IDM frameworks, using ConnID as a case study. The advantages of connectors, their role in security, and future perspectives are discussed.
