Ensuring the Capacity of Road Network in Large Cities

The components of the transport process in conditions of high traffic intensity on the road network of major cities are considered. The disadvantages and causes of dangerous emergency situations and traffic jams are noted. The option for reducing the traffic intensity before the intersection of the main streets of Voronezh (Brusilova Street and Leninsky Prospekts) with left turn is proposed. The categories of streets and roads with possible traffic organization are indicated by the proposed method.
