Robustness of Heterogeneous Networks Under Dynamical Resource Configuration
The robustness of networks is an important research topic. To explore how to enhance the robustness of heterogeneous networks, this paper proposes two different types of resource configuration methods, namely random configuration and node centrality configuration. To verify the effectiveness of the proposed methods, the SIR disease propagation model is introduced, and the robustness of the network is measured by counting the number of infected nodes. Sufficient experimental verification has been conducted on heterogeneous BA and WS networks of different scales. The experimental results indicate that the proposed resource configuration methods can effectively improve network robustness.
