Online Physician-Patient Stable Matching Model with One Side Reciprocal Preferences

The development of the internet and robust national policy support have enabled online medical consultation platforms to grow rapidly. Achieving rapid and accurate matching between physicians' various treatment levels and patients' specific diseases on these platforms is key to realizing the efficient al-location of medical resources. This paper presents a stable bilateral matching decision model aimed at addressing the online physician-patient matching issue, where physicians specify their preference orders for different types of diseases, and patients provide their preference orders for physicians in return. First, the physicians' preference orders of different types of diseases and the patients' reciprocal preference orders are defined, and idea of reciprocal stable online matching between physicians and patients is presented. Additionally, an optimization model for achieving stable matches is formulated, with the goal of reducing the preference orders of both physicians and patients while maximizing the number of successful matches. Lastly, a practical example illustrates the model's effectiveness and precision.
