GOA Panel Routability Improvement Algorithm Based on Flexible via Layout
When routing the Gate Driver on Array (GOA), cross-layer vias are typically introduced to achieve cross-layer routing. The distribution of cross-layer vias affects the final routing effect. Randomly distributing the position of cross-layer vias will lead to problems such as low routing efficiency and poor routing effect. Therefore, a cross-layer via layout algorithm with global path planning as the routability evaluation is proposed. When the cross-layer vias move randomly, the path planning is used to calculate the routability of the layout, and the movement of the vias is driven by this optimization goal. Experiments show that the algorithm improves the routability by 17.83% and shortens the layout time by 80.6% on average compared with Parquet45.
