DCK-Means Plus: A Clustering Model for APC's Document Management
Organizing and categorizing educational materials play a vital role in creating effective learning environments. At Asia Pacific College, there is a clear need for efficient management and retrieval of Project- Based Learning (PBL) documents. These documents are the final project documentation submitted after the final evaluation from the board of panelist, adviser and teacher. Document clustering is a practical approach to streamline information access, aiming to uncover natural groupings within sets of patterns or documents. This study focuses on employing the widely used K- means algorithm as a foundational element in developing a practical and effective document management tailored for Asia Pacific College (APC). By exploring the principles of document clustering, we aim to enhance document organization, accessibility, and overall management within the academic context. The DCK-Means Plus holds promise for optimizing the handling of extensive document repositories, providing a systematic approach to document management within the unique framework of Asia Pacific College.
