Optimization the Phase Composition of Aluminum Alloys for Motor Parts Operating at Incresed Temperatures

The revolutionary transition from internal combustion engines to electric motors intended for mobile air, land and sea objects necessitates an examination of the need to change the components used for their manufacture. This is related both to the purposes of their production and to the evaluation of a number of parameters related to the detection of the products that use them and, in particular, to the possibilities of their localization and recognition through radar, infrared and seismic sensors. Taking into account that aluminum alloys, mainly from the Al-Si-Cu group, are widely used in engines, the proposed material offers a method for analyzing the possibilities for optimizing the phase composition of the aluminum parts of the housing of electric motors, taking into account the increased temperature during their operation and the use of cooling systems. The method is based on modeling the main elements of modern electric motors and the cooling system and applying digital modeling of the processes using the program Thermo-Calc-Software - Computational Materials Engineering.
