A Method of Passive Filter Compensation Device Parameters Selection

The paper is dedicated to the development of a methodology for selecting the parameters of a passive filter compensating device. The paper proposes an approach to determining the parameters of the filter compensating device considering the influence of frequency responses of loads connected to the point of common coupling. The developed approach is applicable for those cases in which the contribution of the power supply system to the deterioration of power quality indicators at the point of connection is negligible.
