Live Demonstration: AI-Based Arrhythmia Detection with Wearable ECG and Cloud Platform for Dog Health Monitoring

This demonstration introduces an innovative Artificial Intelligence Internet of Things (AIoT)-based system designed for real-time cardiac health monitoring in dogs. The system combines a wearable electrocardiogram (ECG) patch with a cloud platform and LTE-M communication to achieve real-time arrhythmia detection. The device, attached to the dog, measures ECG signals, which are displayed on a smartphone app. The binary data is uploaded to a cloud platform to be identified by an $\mathbf{A I}$ algorithm. This cloud-based system supports dog health by enabling continuous monitoring and rapid arrhythmia detection through AI analysis, ensuring timely alerts to veterinarians if necessary. This project presents a wearable healthcare system for dogs that integrates noninvasive electrodes, an analog signal front-end circuit, and an nRF9160 DK microcontroller module. The system captures ECG signals, processes them through high-pass and low-pass filters, and uses LTE-M and GPS modules for real-time data transmission and location tracking. Data is sent to a server via MQTT, allowing users to monitor their dog’s health and location through mobile devices and computers.
