Technical Aspects of Implementing IoE (Internet OF Energy) in Sustainable Agriculture

This paper examines the technical aspects of implementing Internet of Energy (IoE) in sustainable agriculture. Through comparative and inductive analysis of existing literature and technical reports, we explore how IoE technologies can address inefficiencies in energy consumption and management in agricultural settings. Key findings include the potential for distributed sensor networks, predictive analytics, and hybrid renewable energy systems to optimize energy use in agro-complexes. We propose strategies for developing IoE infrastructures that integrate with existing agricultural operations and enable peer-to-peer energy trading in rural microgrids. While IoE approaches show promise for enhancing energy efficiency and sustainability in agriculture, challenges in infrastructure modernization and investment requirements remain. This research highlights IoE as a critical tool for transforming energy management in agriculture, contributing to increased sustainability and competitiveness in the sector.
