Culture as a Factor of Social and Political Relations

The article tries to prove the particular place of culture in politics as well as history. Using the interdisciplinary method, the author explains culture in the field of relations between nations and countries. The novelty of the paper is an attempt to determine culture in social and political relations. Moreover, referring to Hegel and Gasset, the author gives the examples of cultural vector of policy at different historical periods in Europe and provides the results of the research proving the leading place for culture in human relations. Culture devides the world into we-they vectors, so having the same or similar culture based on Christianity, Europeans began to keep together as one region without distinguishing between countries or states in general in international relations. The same can be said about the Asian region, possessing something unique the nations tried to understand similar aspects. The problem is that culture is not taken into consideration in politics and sociology; we used to speak about culture as something not really important in these sciences. The other problem is that politics can be affected by different groups of the society, while the cultural factors of politicians indicate the vectors of politics.
