A Percepção dos Procuradores da Fazenda Nacional sobre a Importância das Soft Skills para a Consultoria

The main purpose of this study is to investigate the perception of the Attorney for the National Treasury on the importance of soft skills for the consultancy and legal advisement functions in general coordination of the central body of the Attorney General´s Office for the National Treasury (PGFN). A descriptive and qualitative research, with semi-structured interviews with Attorneys for the National Treasury working on PGFN's central body, and document analysis. The content analysis was the chosen technique to interpret the data and observation, due to the experience of the researcher in PGFN over the past 13 years in the general coordination offices of the PGFN's central body. From the primary and secondary data collected, it was possible to extract the importance of soft skills to optimize the performance of the Attorney for the National Treasury for the consultancy and legal advisement functions, in view of its strategic role in the formulation and development of public policies, in which it needs to be aware of its role in making the interests of political agents, materialised by public policies, compatible with the legal system.
