Z nurtem, poza nurtem. Strategie przekraczania granic w poezji Theo Dorgana
The article presented here is an attempt to read Theo Dorgan’s poetry as consistently crossing boundaries and reconciling diverse voices and identities. Border-crossing reveals itself in Dorgan’s work on four separate levels: his attempt to transcend the barrier of class, his strategy of creating a transnational intertextual dialogue, his reaching for liminal language and mythic time, and his taking up the thread of travel. Mapping these enables a fuller understanding of the essence of Theo Dorgan’s poetic project as contesting and bending the stability of borders and identities. Keywords: Theo Dorgan, Irish poetry, borders, intertextuality, mythology, liminality, class, travel
