Substantiation of modern system of providing temperature regimes to reduce stress of animals

Nowadays, more and more attention is paid to the conditions of cattle housing in livestock breeding. Maintaining regulated values of microclimate parameters allows to fully realize genetic potential of animals. In this connection, it is necessary to provide regulation of microclimate parameters. Most of the parameters can be regulated by means of air exchange: natural, forced and combined ventilation. The most difficult to control microclimate parameter is temperature. Elevated air temperature has a detrimental effect on animal performance, health, fertility level and economic life. Prolonged exposure to high temperature values forces animals to adapt, which subsequently leads to endocrine system disruption. Various methods are used to reduce the effects of temperature stress, ranging from the use of additional ventilation equipment to the possible development of new heat-resistant/thermotolerant breeds. In materials and methods, the characteristics of such equipment are given. Compass-3D computer-aided design program (CAD), SolidWorks 2020 software package were used. Functional flowchart of the system and its operation modes are given in the results. The values of air velocity in summer and winter modes of operation have been determined: in the system 17,00–20,00 m/s, in the outlets 3,00–4,60 m/s, near animals 0,70–2,90 m/s and in the system 11,00–12,00 m/s, near animals 0,18–0,76 m/s respectively.

Nowadays, more and more attention is paid to the conditions of cattle housing in livestock breeding. Maintaining regulated values of microclimate parameters allows to fully realize genetic potential of animals. In this connection, it is necessary to provide regulation of microclimate parameters.
