Production evaluation of the operation of the NASH-873 adapter on sunflower harvesting in the UNPO Povolzhye of the Engels district of Saratov region in the 2023 season

The characteristics, design features and results of the production evaluation of the NASH-873 adapter with the KZS-1218 “Palesse” combine harvester for harvesting sunflower of the Status hybrid in the 2023 season are given. A method for determining the loss of oil seeds behind the adapter and their shedding on the bottom of the adapter when moving an inclined chamber to the conveyor in the humidity range from 6 to 9% and the speed of the combine from 6 to 12 km/h is presented. According to the results of the production assessment, the dependences of oil seed losses on the soil behind the adapter and their precipitation on the bottom of the adapter on humidity and the speed of movement of the combine harvester are constructed. It was found that with a minimum moisture content of oilseeds Ws = 6 % and a speed of movement of the combine ?c = 12 km/h, losses behind the adapter are maximum and amounted to 6.4 %. With an increase in humidity to 7 %, losses behind the adapter and the shedding of oil seeds on its bottom amounted to 5,0 and 20,0 %, respectively. At humidity values of 8 and 9 %, the loss of oil seeds behind the adapter and shedding on the bottom amounted to 3.9 and 3.7 %, and 18,0 and 15,0 %, respectively. Losses behind the adapter and the shedding of oil seeds on the bottom in the speed range of the combine harvester from 6 to 12 km/h were also determined. The choice of increased speeds was due to the low yield of sunflower 0.55 t/ha.
