Laboratory studies of a centrifugal type mixing plant
The article discusses the results of a study of a laboratory sample of a centrifugal type mixing plant. The dependences of the influence of the rotation speed of the working organ (rotor) on the quality and uniformity of the resulting mixture are revealed. The optimal type of injectors and the flow rate of the working solution during the treatment of mineral fertilizers with stimulating preparations have been determined. The maximum mixing efficiency, expressed by the coefficient of heterogeneity of the mixture, was achieved at a rotor speed of 60 rpm and ranged from 5.27% to 7.64%. The degree of fertilizer treatment with a working solution using mist-forming nozzles with a liquid flow rate of 0.48 l/min was 99.8%.
