Assessment of the effect of modern herbicides on the species composition of weeds in corn crops
The species composition and the dynamics of the number of dominant weeds of the corn agrocenosis have been established, the main types of contamination have been determined. The results of studies on the effectiveness of herbicides in reducing the number of weeds during the growing season of an agricultural crop are presented. The percentage of annual and perennial weeds was 71.9 and 28.1 %, respectively, weeds are represented by two biological classes: monocotyledonous – 59.3% and dicotyledonous - 40.7%. In the fight against annual weeds, the most effective was the herbicide Gezagard, KS, and the herbicide Rangoli-Tiran, VDG that was applied in the 3-5 leaf phase. The biological efficiency in 2020 was 67.9%, and in 2021 - 82.0%, respectively. In the fight against perennial weeds, the Aminopelic, BP (600 g/l), showed high efficiency: 63.6% in 2020, and 69.2% in 2021.
