Application of herbicide and agrochemicals as factors for increasing the yield of sunflower hybrids on chestnut soil in the Trans-Volga region

In arid conditions of the Saratov Trans-Volga region on chestnut soil, the responsiveness of sunflower to the application of bioactivated fertilizers, microfertilizers, and herbicides was determined, and the most effective cultivation technologies were identified. These technologies will increase the yield of sunflower hybrids. Cultivation of hybrids Nusid H4XE; Nusid H4H302E; Nusid TALON increases the yield of oilseeds in relation to the hybrid Nusid H4219 by 11.0; 8.2 and 2.7%, respectively. Foliar feeding increases the yield by 15.3%. The application of the herbicide Canon (0.8 l/ha) increases the yield of sunflower oil seeds by 21.4 %. The combined use of herbicide and foliar feeding increased the yield of oil seeds by 34.7%. The maximum value of the profitability level in the cultivation technology of the sunflower hybrid Nusid H4XE was after application of the herbicide Canon (0.8 l/ha) in combination with foliar feeding with the complex bioactivated fertilizer Bionex-Kemi (2.5 kg/ha) and the microfertilizer MEGAMIX-Bor (0.4 l/ha), amounting to 74.7%.
