Physical laws that determine the parameters of the crushed mass during the harvesting of forage crops

The article discusses the design features of forage harvesters of domestic and foreign production and their influence on the speed of movement of chopped green mass in the technological channel. It was revealed that as a result of using different combinations, locations of components of the technological channel, different kinematics, the green mass in the technological channel is given different linear speeds. It has been established that depending on the speed of the green mass in the technological channel, the volume weight of the harvested crop in the body of the vehicle changes. It was revealed that the volume weight is influenced by static and dynamic pressure, which in turn depends on the degree of loading of the body frame, on the speed of the green mass in the technological channel, and on the degree of grinding the crop.
