This article attempts to reveal the educational impact of volleyball classes on the formation of discipline in higher education students. Through the analysis of scientific literature, it was found that the problem of forming discipline in higher education students is a relevant scientific problem and deserves special attention at the current stage of development of higher education. It was found that sports and game activities, in particular volleyball, have significant formative potential, since they are aimed not only at the physical training of students, but also at the formation of the necessary moral and volitional qualities (discipline, resilience, courage, endurance, etc.). In conditions of intensive educational activity in higher education institutions, there is a need to find effective content, pedagogical conditions, and methods for the formation of the studied categories.
